Silenced voices

Three Cultures Foundation

Cheik Faye, Norma Cruz, Hans Landauer, Rachel Parrente... behind each of these names there is a story of overcoming and fighting for Human Rights that, however, has never been heard.

Their voices have been silenced by totalitarian regimes or, simply, by the passing of the years, despite the fact that their testimonies have a lot to contribute because thanks to them we can know the hell of hundreds of young people who abandon African lands in cayuco, the of women murdered with impunity in Guatemala or that of the survivors of the Nazi concentration camps.

I have had the honor of giving voice to untold stories in my book, just as I did in the Spanish National Radio program 'Voces Silenciadas'. This work led me to win the XXIV King of Spain International Journalism Award in the radio category. Giving a voice to those who are rarely heard has been not only a professional commitment, but also a personal passion that has guided me throughout my career.

Letters for freedom

Maledictio Editions

"Letters for Freedom" began without really knowing what path it could take. Intuition and curiosity led me to the Seville 1 penitentiary center with the help of Solidarios para el Desarrollo, which has been carrying out cultural activities for years dedicated to the leisure of prisoners inside the prison.

It was an exciting discovery to discover the world that exists around a card in prison and how the power of the cards can help these people to change, to relate to the outside world, to fall in love, to reconcile with a loved one, to stop a bloody mutiny or even achieving freedom.

This book is born from the stories and letters of the people who participate in the Solidarity for Development workshop at the Sevilla 1 Penitentiary Center.

Les Migracions correspondents

Pol·len Edicions

At the moment there are more than 214 million people who do not live in the world, according to the United Nations. Això is news? What are the implications of incomplete or biased media coverage on migration? What impact do they have on the people to whom they refer and on social cohesion? These are several factors that the journalist who wants to rigorously report on migrations to the 21st century must take into account.

From Andalusia: Women of the Mediterranean

Arcibel

The contributions of this book aim to denounce sexism as a practice that creates inequality and social injustice and, therefore, prevents true democracy in any country. Sexism and misogyny in everyday practice generates symbolic inequalities that lead to considering the feminine as secondary and irrelevant, in cultural practice it cuts off an important part of contributions, ideas, conceptions, beauty and knowledge, and finally in the practice of personnel irremediably damages women's self-esteem. The texts collected here are a contribution to building knowledge that is based on the real experiences of real women from different Mediterranean countries.
